FAQs
What is a Tree Festival?A tree festival is where you display many fir trees decorated to a set theme, traditionally in a Church.
Our festival will be three-fold, firstly trees where we ask community groups i.e. the brownies/guides to decorate in order to be part of the festival.
Secondly are trees which will be decorated by local businesses to promote themselves and be part of the festival.
Thirdly are our raffle trees which are sponsored by businesses either by donating a monetary prize or actual prize to make up a prize themed tree. The prize bundles will be carefully considered to increase the prize value and make the trees appealing for the people to wishing to purchase a raffle ticket to win the tree.
Who can take part and why?
Anyone can take part either as an individual or on behalf of a group, charity or business. You can take part to promote your organisation or celebrate the life of your community or group or simply have fun being creative and imaginative around this year’s theme of ‘Traditions’.

Yes, there is a charge of £40. This is for the tree and publicity cost. You will need to provide your own decorations and battery powered lights.
